What is it about Australians and penises?
First they gave us Puppetry of the Penis, the award-winning stage show,
and now it's The Penis Principles - an outrageous comedy cabaret show.
We're not complaining though: here at Male Edge we say the
more the merrier.
Speaking to the
Portside
Messenger, creator Matt Bryne explained his reasons for putting on
the new show.
"In day-to-day life, we don't really look at what's down there," he said.
"In fact, society encourages us not to. It's almost the invisible penis
as far as the world's concerned ... It's there, it's important, but
it's hidden away. The Penis Principles looks at everything from
circumcision to self-satisfaction to virility."
Showing at Maxim's Wine Bar in Norwood, Adelaide, The Penis Principles
will run throughout February and March - just in case you happen to be
in the area. It's all for a good cause too - Matt is using the show to
promote prostate cancer awareness.
